Isaac Walthour Isaac “Rab” Walthour, Inducted into the NYC Hall of Fame in 2010

Issac "Rabbit" Walthour (August 25, 1930 – September 10, 1977) was an NYC playground legend who attended Benjamin Franklin High School in East Harlem. Back in the 1950's when the Celtics were considering having black players on the team Walthour was one of the four players at training camp.

Only Chuck Cooper made the roster Walthour would ultimately lose out to Hall of Fame point guard Bob Cousy. He later played for the Milwaukee Hawks from 1953-54. He played from 1949-1951 for the New York/Saratoga Harlem Yankees and in 1953 for the Milwaukee Hawks.
