Rudolph A. LaRusso (November 11, 1937 – July 9, 2004) a Brooklyn native attended James Madison High School in Brooklyn. He later attended Dartmouth (1956-59) where he set Dartmouth records for rebounds in a season (503), with a career (1,239), and was twice named All-Ivy League. LaRusso was drafted in 1959 in the 2nd round selected by the Minneapolis Lakers. He played for the Minneapolis/Los Angeles Lakers (1959-67) and for the San Francisco Warriors (1967-69).

Career highlights 5× NBA All-Star (1962, 1963, 1966, 1968, 1969), and NBA All-Defensive Second Team (1969).
