Larry Lembo 6-4 guard attended Manhattan College. For 13 years he held the all-time leading scoring record with 1,443 and averaging 21.9 points per game. The guard took the Jaspers to the NIT quarterfinals in (1964-1965). He was later selected fourth round of the 1965 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. After his playing career ended, he had a long distinguished career as a college official. In 1985 he was inducted into the Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame. Other career nods the MAAC Honor Roll, an enshrined in the “MAAC Experience an exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame 2017. Lembo was inducted into the Brooklyn Hall of Fame.
